Some jobs you just need a little bit of extra kit to get the work done, and that was certainly the case here. Cranes aren’t an everyday piece of equipment for use, but we are getting used to having them around. However, a MEWP (mobile work elevating platform) is regularly in our arsenal. The job in question was to remove a roadside Beech tree which was located in Victoria Park, just next to a major route into Salisbury. The tree's size and location required us to close part of the road to safely remove it and take the wood off-site. We had a tractor and trailer ready and waiting for the large sections of the Beech. The power of the tractor meant that we were able to take larger and heavier sections, which allowed us to be more efficient and have the road reopened sooner.

The team worked exceptionally well throughout the day and completed the work efficiently. When you have large and potentially dangerous pieces of machinery, it is essential that everyone in the team is aware and professional. This is something we pride ourselves on, and we know that we can operate at the highest level.

At Bawden Tree Care, we carry out a range of work. The task can come in the shape of a massive tree with all of the machinery, or it can be a small hanger which needs removing quickly with just a saw.

We hope you found this small case study interesting. If you have any tree work which you think might need attending to or just want to ask a question, then please get in touch by emailing us at info@bawdentreecare.co.uk or calling us on 01980 623015.
