A customer has called up on Bawden Tree Care to undertake various tree surgery works on a variety of trees, all of which located in a conservation area in Over Wallop. Due to their location, it was necessary for an application to be made to the planning department of Hampshire County Council.
The work involved selective thinning to a mature walnut, removing approximately 1 in 3 branches from the canopy, as well as lifting the base of the crown by 1 to 2 metres. In addition, a crown reduction of a mature copper beech was requested by around 4 metres; all the while, ensuring maintenance of the general aesthetic of the specimen.
"Thank you to the team who were here this afternoon, they have made a great job of the trees - very much appreciated."
